The donors requested that this scholarship "be used to fund the educations if those students, who without these funds would be unable to attend these schools. The recipients must be residents of East Tennessee and should be chosen not only for the academic achievement, but more importantly for their good citizenship and good works in their communities along with their desire to receive a college education.
