	Volunteer Blind Industries This scholarship was established with the income from a trust left to VBI for manpower development and rehabilitation services. The scholarship honors long-time VBI involvement of the late Eldon Pearson, who was a member of the VBI board of directors from 1962-1979, and served as board president from 1965-66. Mrs. Pearson supported her husband's efforts to help the visually impaired and was an employee of Walters State before her retirement.
