Friends of James C. "Jim" Elliott, Sr.
Mr. Jim Elliott owned Woodcraft, a hardwood flooring store, and two sawmills among other businesses in the area and employed hundreds of people. Elliott was known for taking care of his employees and for his support of local education and athletics. The wood floor of the Isenberg-Siler Gymnasium inside Morristown Hamblen East High School was purchased, installed, and finished by Mr. Elliott and his company Woodcraft. In 2012, the floor was renamed the "Jim Elliott" floor as a tribute to the late Mr. Elliott for his many contributions over the years.
