Mr. Richard Warren and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Burns along with family and friends of Stephanie and Marlene
This scholarship was originally established in 1992, by Richard and Marlene Warren, in memory of their daughter Stephanie, who tragically lost her life in a car accident just before her seventh birthday. Richard served as associate professor of biology at Walters State since 1971. Marlene taught first grade at Hillcrest Elementary School. Stephanie was a student at John Hay Elementary School.
Marlene's name was added to this scholarship in 1996 after her passing.
