Miss Ruby L. Gilley
Miss Ruby Lee Gilley was born in Bulls Gap, TN, to Rufus H. Gilley and Minnie Gilley Rich. She was employeed by an investment company in Knoxville for nine years and then moved to Morristown, where she worked as secretary to Senator Herbert H. Walters for four years. Ms. Gilley then worked twenty-four years with the State of Tennessee in the job placement office. She was also an active member of First United Methodist Church, Morristown.
