Walters State Senators Pages and friends of John Atkins
This scholarship was established by Walters State Senators Pages in memory of fellow Senators Page member John Atkins, son of Ursell and Mary Atkins. John graduated from Morristown West High School and was studying pre-pharmacy at Walters State at the time of his unexpected passing. While at West High, John was a member of the student council, Rotary Interact Club, Beta Club, and vice-president of the senior class. He was a member of Manley Baptist Church.
