Mr. and Mrs. Y. J. McAndrew
At the time this scholarship was established, Mr. and Mrs. Y. J. McAndrew owned the McAndrew Motor Inn in Pigeon Forge. They established this scholarship in memory of their nephew, George Alger McAndrew II. First priority preference is to be given to applicants who are employees or relatives of employees of McAndrew Motor Inn. The second priority preference is for the scholarship to be awarded to applicants who are residents of Jefferson County and who are majoring in those areas associated with business, agriculture, or physical education.
