Dr. Joseph and Mrs. Blanche Gulyash
The founding donors of this scholarship fund, having given generously of themselves through careers in medicine and government service and through involvement in their community through church, civic, and charitable activities, wish to impress upon future generations of scholarship recipients the importance of family and volunteerism in achieving a worthwhile life of balancing the obligations and rewards of family and service to others. Recognizing that life is often a blend of opporunities derived from hard work with opportunities made available through the generosity of others, the donors sincerely hope that all recipients of this scholarship fund will enrich themselves and others by "giving back" to this fund at some point in the future when they have graduated and achieved the financial capabilities of doing so.
