Friends and family of William D. Eversole
This scholarship has been established in honor of the late William D. Eversole, a local pharmacist who died in an scuba diving accident. Mr. Eversole was an active church and and community leader, a deacon and Sunday school teacher, and a Little League baseball coach. This scholarship was spearheaded by Gene Jolley after consultation with Eversole's widow, Mrs.Eversole Bible. Other members of the William D. Eversole scholarship committee are Lloyd E. Bible, Joe Hadden, Joe Huntsman, Oscar Hicks and E.V. "Babe" Bauch.
