Friends of Jackie Burchell Long
The Jackie Burchell Long Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Jackie Burchell Long, who passed away as a result of an automobile accident. Major contributors to the scholarship are several of Jackie's friends: David Helton, Doe Jarvis, Dr. Maria Arturi, Harold and Ann Nichols, and Mark and Lisa Sawyer. Jackie was very active in the Lakeway area. She volunteered with United Way and was a member of Girls Inc. Board of Directors. Ms. Long also served on the Mid-East Tennessee Regional P-16 Council.
