Jean and Lee Schilling's Folk Life Center of the Smokies
Each year this scholarship is granted to memorialize one of the persons from the list below, each in turn, one after another, in rotation, to start again at the beginning when the last person on the list has been memorialized. Those to be memorialized, some of whom are still living, were instrumental in accomplishing the various activities of the Folk Life Center of the Smokies during its operative years and are as follows:
